Purina recently conducted a survey that resulted in 90% of the respondents reporting they always try to buy foods for their consumption that has the best health benefits; 82% of those surveyed reported that they try to purchase foods that contain the best wholesome ingredients for their pets. The survey indicates that Americans wish to buy foods that are made from natural ingredients; over 75% of those surveyed look for foods that contain natural ingredients. Whether or not a food contains natural ingredients is a major factor for purchase decisions on family foods for 31% of those surveyed; 38% of the respondents said the same natural ingredient factor determines what food they buy for their pets.
